Burger King Just Launched a $1 MENU
No this isn't a fake picture but a real animal the OKAPI and is part of the Giraffidae family of animals.
I was a good this year so my hubby got me a firy Croton. I have had my fusses with these guys in the past but I learned to put them in bright light in winter, shade on back porch in summer and don't stress when they relentlessly toss their leaves on the ground ... I can always propagate them! ... My fiscus tree has been bald before and kept living just find a Recovery station. Love houseplants? So do I make sure you are hooked up with me on youtube - Pople backyard farm I love talking planty things there. ...

We have no idea how many magi there were.... They were the maker of kings and now they would meet the King of kings..

The gold may have been used by Joseph to pay their way to flee from King Herod.
Herod The Great was very cruel and insecure and killed family and anyone he thought would threaten his throne.. He was troubled along with all Israel when he heard that a new king would be born.
It is troubling to me that no one but the shepherds and the wisemen went to seek out Jesus when he was born.
When the Magi came they came to the HOUSE not the stable. Jesus was a young child by the time they reached him.

Isaiah 25:1 and fun memorizing Scripture
I heard a story years ago that I just loved . A woman wanted to memorize Scripture so what she would do would paste Scriptures on all her cleaning products by the time the product was done she had memorized the verses. She would put ones like The Joy of the Lord is my strength on her Joy dishwashing soap, etc..

This is how my houseplants act when I am outside working on the vegetables....

I have a load of food to put away and my rule is never do anything before I have my first two cups of coffee in the morning! .. too foggy ... and need to wake up.. one of the best indulgences I have allowed myseIt lf in life.
To keep myself from missing messages.. and as one marketer told me one time... Sibby, Ruthie that is insane as I had over 100,000 messages in my twitter dm... now I say I don't go in there it's too scary LOL... When Clay retired I really didn't know what direction I was going to go on social media ... but I have been social on it from day one that I figured at this point in my life I am just enjoying the friendships and the fun of it all. Not making money... just figure the people are the wealth all said if you are new to me...or old ... think of me as your online penpal... virtual penpal.. if I am online live twitter, ig, youtube, etc... by all means chat right then with me.. I hope to spread joy and happiness and to make your day just a little more special everyday... :) It's good to have a friend that isn't looking to get in your wallet!

My favorite Cookbook for soups
I know that many of us live a really busy life. One thing I have learned to do is to put a pot of soup on everyday. When I first make a big soup I make a huge batch then divide it into little bags to freeze and then I always have something fast and nutricious to serve for hungry people.

Purple Passion Plant Hanging Care and Information
The Purple passion plant is one of my favorites. The beauty is best the first couple years and then it slowly isn't as lovely. They are quite delightful if they are overflowing over the edge of the pots and trailing. Avoid getting the leaves wet and to propogate them it is best in soil from cuttings as they are prone to root rot. I would suggest trying to get them started in water just in case you do have luck as you never know! I personally have cultvated plants such as the button fern from cuttings etc.. I always say rule number one in plant care is breaking the rules as you never know. The Purple passion seems to tolerate nicely a moderate sun exposure. I put one of mine on my west bright hot porch and it died. My sister put hers out in a sunny window and it flourished and was one of the most beautiful specimens I have seen. Like I always say break all the rules as like your kids everyone is different!
People are always wanting to get rich quick on youtube... like everything else I personally feel it takes awhile to build your youtube business today I discuss MLM's in youtube careers.

It's a fact Jack... It's a heatwave in Upstate New York
It is so hot here in Upstate New York at times it feels like you can hardly breathe... wet faces, arms, soggy clothes... Thank the Lord for air conditioning right? I wake up and decide I am going to move furniture..as we are remodeling. The reality hits me. not moving furniture.. I will be painting in the fall and leave the furniture where it is instead of buying new cabinet for that spot. It is probably the first of a few products that won't be done as planned as my wrist is healing and I promised myself I wouldn't overdue it. So goes life. Roll with the punches and don't take life too seriously.
I heard something interesting last night as I was sleeping/listening to preaching from Pastor Daniel Fusco he talked about preparing yourself spiritually as well as physically. He was preaching on Queen Esther making a banquet. Read the book of Esther in the Bible to hear the story. I totally agree... now is the time to read your Bible and pray not wait until you are in a crisis. Just like money in the bank stock and build yourself up spiritually ..also like a body builder so when troubles come you are ready. Same with your homes have things in order and ready for anything.. full pantries, gas in car, clothes ironed and washed etc.. The first time I heard Pastor Daniel Fusco I just loved those dreadlocks and had to laugh he looks cool but he is a really good preacher. ..

I think I need to wear more make up I always look so tired.. but I am fun! No... my mother in law tongue is not flowering... but I have another plant that is and I can't remember it's name that I hope to post on ig later... and yes Mother in Law tongue do flower!

The New Normal?
My New normal started the day my husband retired. I was so happy I cried. Really. At that time he was still recovering from hip surgery only to have me break my wrist not once but twice. So here I am just over a year from his retirement with a wrist brace on waiting to start physical therapy. God has such a funny sense of humor...
God wanted US to SLOOOOOWWWW DOWN!
by slowing down it is bringing glory to God. Exalted -- (the dictionary meaning)
to raise in rank, power or character.
It is a testimony to others... I say bring on the rest! Hebews 11 - There remains a rest for the people of God. We just say Lord take care of it... go about whistling and enjoy the day.
If you are on youtube... you have been going along with us on that journey. Yes, I am a youtuber ... even before I met Clay... the love of my life, so here is my latest youtube... Oh, since you are here.. still I once thought I would like to write a book.. but then said hey why do that .. blogging is the same as writing a book for me.. so please come back everyday and see my brilliant writing LOL.. If you want to write a book go to amazon then kindle write a book .. they help you... I have written professionally before and even did a webinar for a company etc.. but those are other stories.. so this blog in essence is my blog and my book read for free LOL... Okay now here is my Marble Queen Pothos isn't she cute? I do have more than a plant addiction! Red Rex Begonia propagation
I am loving my Rex Begonia that I aquired today. I was thrilled to discover that it could easily be propagated by a single leaf in water.

This has been a year of changes! Clay retired and now the two of us have started to really build our lives together FULL TIME ... He actually officially retired July 2019 and now I am finally really getting back to my blog. With a lot of great changes!
